This weekend, the "Junge Piraten" from Germany met in Hannover. The reason for this meeting was anongoing discussion about the logo. Until lately Germany's young pirates were represented by a blue logo containing a disputed mascot, the so-called "Flummi". Due to the incongruity between the logo of the Pirate Party Germany and the logo of their associated youth organization, the director's board of the latter decided to change their logo and adapt it to the one of the former. This decision was now confirmed by the base. Given this ratification, the german Young Pirates are proud to officially present their new logo, internally nicknamedas "bandanalogo". The time needed for the discussion was estimated to be long, yetturned out to be way shorter than expected. Therefore there was time to spare to get to know each other, working groups andseveral pirate projects. The international working group was presented to the assembledmembers as well. Obviously the German Young Pirates were excited about the idea of YP-International and are looking forward to meet Young Pirates from other countries and to work together on political topics.
