YPI - Young Pirate International is the international umbrella organisation of the youth organisations of local Pirate Parties. Like the parties, the Young Pirates address topics connected to information technology (e.G. internet, internet censorship and first person shooters) and grassroots democracy. Furthermore one goal of the Young Pirates is to prevent bans on so called "killer games" and therefore conserve a part of gaming culture.
